Matt Hobson-Rohrer has been hiking and biking Utah trails since 1976, when he moved to Salt Lake City from Southern California. Matt attended the University of Utah, where he holds an undergraduate degree in Engineering and an MBA. Matt’s company, Roar Simulation, helps companies assess their supply chain automation risk using simulation technology. Matt has been active in trails advocacy since moving to Emigration Canyon in 2004. Some of Matt’s favorite trails include the Bonneville Shoreline, Mormon Pioneer, and Flying Dog. Matt enjoys hiking and traveling with his family – wife Wendy, and teenage children Hanna and Peter.
