Sarah Bennett is a life-long Utah resident and passionate trail advocate who has lived and chronicled the explosion of interest in mountain biking and outdoor recreation for more than two decades. Observations gleaned over the years working with land managers, researching and writing biking guide books in four different Western states convinced her of the need to create more trails and open space access for an ever-growing population of committed trail enthusiasts. Sarah has participated in numerous regional and community planning efforts as an outspoken trail and open space advocate and successfully drove the effort to fund and create the Emigration Canyon Trails Master Plan. Her experience in the non-profit arena runs the gamut and includes fundraising, grant writing, outreach, and communications. Sarah is co-founder of TRAILS UTAH.
